Kestrel Technologies develops a system for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) that will enable bonds to be traded like stocks

Kestrel Technologies finished building a web-based order entry system that will serve as the foundation for the New York Stock Exchange’s plans to create a centralized bond exchange. Kestrel’s implementation interfaces with the NYSE’s existing Arca trading platform and will enable individual users at member firms to buy and sell corporate, agency and government bonds as if they were stocks.

This revolutionary exchange platform will provide a more efficient and transparent way to trade bonds. Once launched, NYSE Bonds will be the largest centralized bond market of any U.S exchange or other self-regulatory organization.
